Thanks for purchasing your first classes through Living Social! Your Living Social voucher is good for 4 of our Open Classes and a Friday night party. However, we do recommend all new students to attend our Introduction to Ballroom class before attending any other open classes. Here's how to set up your first class.
  1. Fill out the box to the right and choose your first class.
  2. After you submit the form, you're all set - just bring your voucher with you when you come to class.
  3. Before you come to class, please be sure to look over our Class Rules and Etiquette below.
  4. Please come to class 30 minutes early to account for traffic, parking, and paperwork.
  5. Space is limited, so there is a small chance that we will contact you shortly after you register to ask that you move to another class time.
  6. If you can't make it to your scheduled class, please let us know via email within 24 hours.

If you have any other questions, check our FAQ or email us at info@ballroomphiladelphia.com.

See you soon!

Class Rules & Dance Etiquette

  1. Street shoes are prohibited in the dance studio. Please bring an additional pair of shoes you can dance in. They do not have to be special ballroom shoes, just something that you feel comfortable moving in. All shoes should have backs and support the ankle well. No sneakers. No sandals.
  2. Look (and smell) nice. Dress up a little and remember: mints are your friends.
  3. Be nice. Don't blame your partner for not doing something right. After all, it could have been your fault.
  4. Don't teach or give pointers. I know you just want to help, but it just ends up making your partner nervous and/or self-concious. For many students, it's already a big step just coming in and taking the class.
  5. We are gay friendly! We do everything we can to build a supportive and respectful atmosphere. You may occasionally have to dance with a partner of the same sex. Please get over it.
