Ballroom Philadelphia Group Class Schedule

No partner is required for any class on the schedule. Though rare, class times are subject to change, so please check this page before coming to class. Also, please read our Class Rules, Dance Etiquette, and Policies pages before attending. Click on a class time to see what dances will be taught.

Class Descriptions

  • Intro Level Classes - $11/person - 40 minutes
    Open to Groupon and Living Social Customers
    These classes have no prerequisites and are designed for absolute beginners. You will learn basic movement and lead/follow elements common to all ballroom dances. New students, including those with a Groupon, Living Social, or Amazon Local voucher should register for this class here before taking other classes.
    Additionally, we do recommend that all new students sign up for the New Student Special. It’s the quickest and least intimidating and stressful way to jump start your dancing skill and avoid many of the mistakes beginner dancers make. Alternatively, new students can try a Group Class for only $5.
  • Beginner Level Classes - $11/person - 40 minutes
    Open to Groupon and Living Social Customers
    These classes are taught at a faster pace than the Introductory class. There is no need to register for this level of class, you just drop in whenever it’s convenient for you. However, to get the most out of this level of class, we recommend that all new students take at least one Introductory Level class or register for the New Student Special. Alternatively, new students can try a Group Class for only $5.
  • Bronze Classes - marked “B1-B4″ - 40 minutes
    These are more advanced classes that are closed to the public. They require teacher approval or enrollment into our Bronze Program.
  • Practice Sessions/Parties - $5/person - 40 minutes
    These provide you with a chance to practice dancing without direct teacher supervision in a realistic setting. These sessions prepare you to use your skills in the real world. Plus, they are super fun.
